NEW AVERSE SEFIRA REVIEW

AVERSE SEFIRA – ADVENT PARALLAX
Some things just get better with age. Averse Sefira have spewed a dark and hammering style of black metal for years now, and this fourth album does wonders to continue a legacy hopefully continuing for many aeons. Often mid-paced, always catchy, and ideally lengthy hymns to ring in the apocalypse for us all. Now under the banner of Candlelight Records, the band has more versatility in their arsenal with regards to touring, distribution, and general spreading of their plague. And if you ever get an opportunity to see them live, make everything else not matter and go witness them in their full-on glory. To call it a hell of an experience would be mere understatement. If you’ve followed them since the beginning, you’ll know what to expect, and even single expectation with this release will be met and exceeded. (FA)
