PELICAN Confirm Chicago Shows; Songs To Air During CBS And IFC Programming

PELICAN will be embracing their hometown roots, playing at Chicago's annual Do Division Street Fest this June. The event takes place on Saturday & Sunday, June 5th & 6th, on Division Street in Downtown Chicago. The outdoor festival will draw in over 50,000 people for the two-day event, and will showcase PELICAN playing at dusk on Saturday, June 5th. They'll share the stage with Headlights, CoCoComas, Maritime, headliners The Hood Internet and more, as their stage is hosted by comedian Neil Hamburger! Get the full scoop at: http://www.do-divisionstreetfest.com. The band will play their hometown again following night at The Empty Bottle, headlining over local acts Medusa and Miracle Condition, featuring members of celebrated cult Chicago band US Maple.

Also just confirmed; PELICAN's song "The Creeper" -- the second track on their most recent release What We All Come To Need -- will appear in the season finale of CSI: Miami, on CBS this Monday, May 24th (we recently announced this as airing on May 31st - sorry about that)! Check your local listings. You can then tune in on June 8th, to indie film channel IFC, as music from the album will appear on the show Dinner With The Band, in an episode hosted by the reunited Murder City Devils.

What We All Come To Need -- PELICAN's fourth full-length album, and first for Southern Lord Recordings -- was released in October, and has been praised by many as the band's most intelligent and cohesive material yet. Stay tuned for more updates on the band to be announced shortly.
